(a)Specifications. Each milliliter of solution contains 10 milligrams
(mg)telmisartan.
(b)Sponsor. See No. 000010 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
(c)Conditions of use—(1) Amount. Administer 1.5 mg/kilogram
(kg)(0.68 mg/pound (lb)) orally twice daily for 14 days, followed by 2 mg/kg (0.91 mg/lb) orally once daily.
(2)Indications for use. For the control of systemic hypertension in cats.
(3)Limitations. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. [83 FR 64740, Dec. 18, 2018]
